the retailers so that it has become an important and integral

more popular.

Our philosophy
- Due to good co-operation with
various research institutes, fruit growing consultants
and leading nurseries, varieties will only be released
for propagation after having been sufficiently tested
in several regions.
- The producers are the weakest link within the chain
and need our full commitment.
- Retailers are very important to us, because they play
a vital part in introducing new varieties. The immediate
feedback they get from the consumers enables them to predict
very quickly whether a variety is enthusiastically accepted
or not.
- Compared internationally, our licence fees are in the
lower half of the market range.
- Part of the licence fees is invested in sales promotion
which in turn benefits the producers.
- Unauthorised propagation is not a minor offence, rather
a total and illegal disregard for the highly qualified
and extensive work of breeders.
- The licensees are constantly kept updated on new developments.
We adopt an open relationship of mutual confidence with
them.
- We treat all our partners, from the producer to the
consumer, fairly and expect loyalty from them in return.
